The German subsidiaries of Novartis AG – Novartis Deutschland GmbH, Novartis Pharma GmbH and Novartis Pharma Produktions GmbH – have outsourced their payroll accounting processes to TDS. The IT services specialist implemented SAP ERP Human Capital Management (SAP ERP HCM), replacing the existing PAISY solution. After transferring SAP operations to TDS – a project begun in 2009 – the multi-faceted technology company recently upgraded its ERP software from SAP R/3 release 4.7 to SAP ERP release 6.04. 3M Deutschland and its IT outsourcing partner, TDS, accomplished this second transition in under four months.
