Neckarsulm/Regensdorf (Zürich), January 25, 2010. IT service provider TDS is now offering HR services in Switzerland. Its portfolio includes payroll and travel-expense accounting, HR administration and recruitment management. In Germany, TDS is the market leader in HR business-process outsourcing (BPO) for mid-size companies, handling over 750,000 payroll transactions every month.
TDS’ IT Outsourcing und SAP Consulting business units already operate successfully in Switzerland, from a local base in Regensdorf near Zurich. TDS has longstanding relationships with leading enterprises such as aircraft manufacturer Pilatus Flugzeugwerke in Stans. TDS also performs payroll accounting for the Swiss-based employees of existing HR BPO customers based in Germany. In future, these services will be provided locally in Switzerland.
Lightening the load on HR professionals
In human resources management, the effort required to perform routine tasks is substantial. For example, payroll accounting involves focusing on many details, from tax regulations to the terms of collective bargaining agreements. As a result, demand for HR outsourcing services is rising. “Outsourcing these time-consuming routine tasks to a reliable provider can generate significant savings,” says Robert Battenstein, joint managing director of TDS HR Services & Solutions. “And since pricing is based on the number of transactions processed, customers also benefit from highly transparent costs.” Furthermore, outsourcing entire business processes frees up in-house HR specialists for more strategic tasks. It allows them to focus on their top priority – the people at the heart of the business. “That’s why we’re seeing significant demand for these services among Swiss companies, too. Our current discussions with prospects confirm this,” adds Thomas Eggert, the other joint managing director of TDS HR Services & Solutions.
